We are so confident we do not require contracts, however we do offer a price promise to all veterinary practices who agree to use all of our services exclusively for a minimum period of 12 months. We offer a reliable and professional service with full licensed and approved premises which has proved itself over the past 22 years of service to Veterinary Practices throughout Lincolnshire and all adjoining Counties.
Lincolnshire Pet Crematorium is a leader in its field, we are able to deal direct with both Veterinary Practices and the public, catering for all requirements large or small, but at the same time are also able to offer “special rates” for various services and supplies to Veterinary practices. All services are tailored for your special requirements – please feel free to contact us personally and speak about your surgeries needs. We ware able to call twice weekly, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, if you do not have cold storage facilities we are happy to provide a freezer for our exclusive use. We would point out that we are fully licenced and permitted to cremate all categories of pets and we also hold an approval by DEFRA to cremate SRM (specific risk material) i.e., Goats, Sheep and Cattle.
It is a legal requirement that all SRM must include the appropriate paper trail allowing complete tracking from owner to disposer and we as a disposer will ensure you are provided with the necessary paper work to ensure your Surgery remains legal at all times. This includes the required Consignment Notes in triplicate, the necessary documentation for the transport and disposal of Clinical Waste, Sharps etc., together with the Tracking forms and Transfer Notes for the carriage and disposal of Cadavers.
We also offer FREE WASTE TRAINING and assistance to veterinary surgeries in completing the new Waste Pre-Acceptance introduced in March 2010 which must be carried out by ALL surgeries by March 2012. This is a legal requirement and NO waste should be removed by any carrier or disposer without the production of this document.
We are pleased to provide full details regarding the new Clinical Waste Pre-Acceptance Audit Check, all veterinary surgeries with whom we deal will be provided completely free of charge will details of the above to ensure they and their surgery are working within the correct legal proceedure for the disposal of veterinary waste. We also provide all documentation for veterinary waste including, Transfer Notes and Consignment Notes.
We offer a full range of Veterinary services including the supply of sharps bins, bags, bottle boxes etc., all at discounted prices. In addition we also offer a wholesale memorial service to practices who wish to participate allowing each surgery commission on memorials sold through their surgery. Our regular special offers on a selection of Veterinary supplies enables practices to take advantage of huge savings and therefore reduce expenses to the practice.
Lincolnshire Pet Crematorium is able to offer peace of mind to busy Veterinary Surgeries by keeping up to date and notifying you of any changes in regulations, ensuring that at all times your practice operates within the legislation keeping your surgery legal avoiding expensive fines. We can also confirm that we hold a National Compliance Certificate issued by the National Federation of Private Pet Crematoria which means we must comply to a very high standard and meet all the criteria covering environmental, operational, quality of service, this is what DEFRA and the AHVLA say about the certificate: “DEFRA and the AHVLA acknowledge the value of this National Certification Scheme as provided by the National Federation of Private Pet Crematoria to support operators in meeting “Best Practice” in addition to the requirements of the Animal by-Products regulations.”
Do not pay expensive fees we can offer FREE STAFF TRAINING, advice and help on the new Waste Audit which is now required to be carried out by Veterinary Surgeries – this came into force in March 2010 and veterinary surgeries have until March 2012 to conform, do not delay start putting your waste disposal and colour coding in order now to avoid unnecessary difficulties arrising nearer the deadline and take advantage of our FREE STAFF TRAINING.
ATTENTION ALL VET SURGERIES: We support the advice given to pet owners by the national press who have stated that pet owners should treat with EXTREME CAUTION any price for an individual cremation of a pet which is less than £120. This in turn should act as a warning to ALL veterinary surgeries, any prices quoted to veterinary surgeries which appear too good to be true, probably are. This can not only lead to court action by your Clients but can also lead to prosecution as the law states that ALL “WASTE” PRODUCERS (which of course includes veterinary surgeries) must ensure that their waste is disposed of in the correct manner, this makes YOU RESPONSIBLE if anything goes wrong.
